What is Aquamation?

Aquamation is an eco-friendly, water-based form of cremation that uses alkaline hydrolysis to process your pet’s remains.

Your pet will be placed inside an alkali bath that consists of the same organic chemicals which would help their body naturally break down if they were buried, just at an accelerated rate. Once that is completed and processed, the only solid remains are the mineral ash of the bones.

Why Offer Aquamation?

Aquamation offers a gentle and peaceful process for pet cremation that is not harmful for the environment and produces zero emissions.

Due to this gentle process, Aquamation provides 20% more ash to return to families than traditional flame cremation.

Aquamation results in a lighter color of cremated remains when compared to those produced by flame cremation due to the lack of carbon discoloration with the addition of the cleansing alkali bath.
