Sunrise "Baby" Horneker

Sunrise, an almost 17 year old orange tabby, came home with our family at just 10 weeks old alongside her brother- Stormy. She peacefully passed in the early morning of January 28th. 

Sunrise was known for her human-like behavior and a penchant for hanging up phone calls between her mother and her mother's best friend. Despite her small size she had a big personality and always kept her twin brother Stormy in line- and later her two younger brothers Valentino & Vernon despite them being three times larger and 16 years her junior. 

Sunrise spent the majority of her life perched on her mom's shoulder like a parrot until her arthritis got too bad to do so. Her old age never slowed her down though when it came to stealing human food such as whipped cream, ice cream, & of course grilled chicken. 

Sunrise is survived by her cat brothers; Stormy, Valentino & Vernon and the great many humans that have had the pleasure of being in her presence. Her family already sorely misses her.
